The vineyard, managed organically, features green sandstone schist soil with a schisto-sandstone subsoil. Hand-picked grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel vats with a controlled dose of SO₂. The wine matures on fine lees for 5 months, resulting in a well-balanced rosé with an alcohol content of 12% vol and 11 g/L of sugar.
The harvest was timed to capture optimal ripeness, allowing for the expression of fresh, ripe berry flavors in the final wine. This attention to detail in the vineyard ensures that only the best fruit makes it into the bottle.
Tasting Notes
The nose offers enticing aromas of ripe berries, including pomegranate, cherry, and crushed strawberries. On the palate, it feels like biting into juicy, ripe fruit, with a refreshing acidity that enhances its vibrant fruit profile.
